A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS REQUIRED TO BEGIN A CONVERSATION ABOUT ANY OF OUR DOGS FOR ADOPTION. YOU WILL FIND THE ONLINE APP ON OUR WEBSITE AT www.colliesheltierescue.org. OUR IT FOLKS SAY IF OUR DIRECTOR CAN DO IT, ANYONE CAN DO IT! Dandelion came to us from a farm in Nebraska with his brothers and sisters. He is one of the smaller males, although all of the pups are robust and strong. He has the dearest little face and he watches your face all the time for signs of approval. He loves the company of other dogs so a good natured companion dog will be a plus. And Collies especially love the company of other Collies. At 11 weeks of age, Dandelion is ready and willing to become "all the dog he can be" with the guidance of loving hands. But if you are not committed to loving him for his entire lifetime, you are not the folks he has been waiting for. BTW, if you are wondering about his name, we named the females in this family of puppies after flowers (Rose and Iris) and the males after weeds (RaggWeed, TumbleWeed, Thistle, Clover and Dandelion.) It seemed like a good idea at the time. All of Dandy's basic veterinary care will be covered by RMCSR. Vaccines, pre-anesthetic bloodwork, neuter and a Home Again microchip with lifetime registration. Please read about the requirements for adoption as you are completing you application. A securely fenced yard, a fabulous reference from your veterinarian and a home visit or digital photos if this frigid weather continues. Dandelion is headed for the bathtub.....again!
