Fletcher is a dignified sable and white rough-coated Collie about 8 years old. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He has recently had a dental and his teeth are gleaming white and polished. He loves to be close to his humans and would enjoy being the center of the universe for some lucky family. He is fine with other dogs and loves to have kitty pals around, as he had in his previous home. Fletcher was downsized as his family gave up their house and moved to a condo. Our hope for Fletch would be for him to get to go to work with a beloved owner or hang out with someone who works from home. He seemed like a lonely soul when he first arrived and has become good friends with a teenage boy who thinks Fletch is pretty special too. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.
