Stormy is a sweet, elderly, mahogany sable spayed female. She loves everyone and everything and is a pleasure to have as a companion. She has no bad habits, is gentle and has a low maintenance energy level .
Like many gracefully ageing ladies she is slowing down a bit. She loves short daily walks but steps and stairs are a problem for her sometimes unsteady legs. She enjoys car rides but needs to be lifted in and out. Even at 50 pounds she is used to being picked up and is very cooperative.
Stormy loves to be rubbed and loved and included in the group, whether it be a group of household pets or the human family members. She is wonderful around people of all ages, but should be kept safe from toddlers since she may feel vulnerable to eye poking and tail pulling. She is not at all food agressive, and is so gentle taking treats that she often drops them.
Stormy would do best in a home where her person would be home with her most of the day. She would do well to have another doggy housemate to encourage her to explore the yard and to know when things are happening since she is a bit hard of hearing.
This old girl still has a lot of happy days ahead of her- maybe you are the right one to share them with her?
