Belle is one of lady Pepper's Puppers who came to RMCSR from the side of the road in a cardboard box in the four corners region of Colorado.  She is full of life and always ready for an adventure.  She plays equally with her littermate brothers and loves rough and tumble games.  Pouncing on a squeaky toy is always fun for her but cuddle time is important too.  She has a delicate pretty face and perky ears.  By the time she goes to her forever home in a couple of weeks, she will have had her next puppy vaccine and been wormed again.  Eventually, she will be spayed and microchipped, etc.  All of this is at our expense.

A completed application is our first step toward any adoption and you will find the online app on our website at www.colliesheltierescue.org.  Without the completed application, we will have no basis for a conversation about any of our dogs.  Puppies are especially important to protect and we will carefully check out the applicants to screen for just the right match.  A fenced yard, kind and gentle humans and a great reference from your veterinarian.  And you will have to pass the scrutiny of Nancy, the foster mom.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process.
