Lewellen is a "Lulu!"  At about 10 weeks old, she is smart and busy.  She eats, drinks and sleeps just like a puppy should.  We have started a little leash work and she picked it up easily.  Lulu is used to men, women and children after being born on a farm in Nebraska with grandchildren around.  She is used to the company of other Collies and would enjoy having another dog to romp with.  Cats are an unknown.

Puppies need a ton of time and attention.  If you work long hours, a puppy is not right for you.  If you live in an apartment, it might not be the best environment for a puppy.  A premium dog food is a budget item.  If money is an issue, adding another mouth to feed may not be the best thing to do.  There are a ton of questions to ask your self.  We can help guide you to a good decision.

All of the veterinary care is included in your adoption.  Vaccines, microchip and spay or neuter. And Lulu WILL BE SPAYED when she is old enough.  There are only five puppies and I am certain we will have 50 applications.  Please don't be offended if you are not chosen for one of these kids.  Thanks for thinking of us.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us.
