Sweet William is a 4 month old smooth Collie pup hailing from the deep south.  He arrived in Colorado after a complex series of car rides across the country.  He is an awesome pup, completely crate trained and well on his way to be housebroken.  Will is a smart fellow with a nice sense of humor that seems to be a part of a smoothie's temperament.

We will give first preference to a family with another young and playful dog, children over 10 and at least one adult who is home most of the time.  We realize that humans need to work to buy dog food but puppies do not raise themselves (nor do children for that matter).  Sweet William deserves to become all the dog he can possibly be.  And that requires that a family will start off with some basic obedience training and go for hikes and drives to watch the kids play soccer.

Our adoption application covers a lot of territory but it is all information that is important to making the right match for Sweet William.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
