Needs to be spayed when she is not in heat.
Beautiful, tiny and perfect. That is the way this dog is described by her foster family. Her name was Lassie (how very original!) and "Honey Bunny" is the name our Director has given her. She is a very small young adult Collie, weighing in at 33#. She is heartworm negative and her CBC and blood chemistries are all normal. She has also had all needed vaccinations. But Honey Bunny has come into heat and will not be leaving our arms until she is out of heat and can be spayed. That does not mean that a fabulous family cannot be found for her but they must agree to be patient. This will give Honey Bunny the time she needs to catch up on lots of training. She is progressing well on her housebreaking with lots of praise. Her appetite is good and she takes treats gently from her humans. Cheese is the ultimate treat for her and it will be a good way to build trust. Although she is curious, she has not had tons of experience with the things a beloved dog gets to know. Car rides just for fun, snuggling on the couch and being brushed and fluffed......all the things we do for our beloved dogs, right? We expect to receive a huge number of applications for Honey Bunny. Please help us narrow the choice down by letting us know how you will make her life special.
