awaiting spay schedule
Our radiant blue angel Josie, one of the most attractive and amicable collies that we've had the good fortune to foster, will turn 8 years old on December 21st. She's the perfectly sized collie, weighing just 51 pounds. Her personable appearance and cordial collie nature will surely turn heads wherever she goes. Josie is a rather pensive girl... calm, collected and at peace with all things in her universe... though she can also be a shy, somewhat skittish girl... depends on how her day is going. She gets along well with other dogs, having easily settled in with our pack. Josie is very obedient and responds to the basic commands. Smart and anxious to please, she should easily learn much more. Though she has a stage 2 (of 6) heart murmur Josie's health is very good. Her blood panel is normal, she is heartworm negative, and she's up to date on all required vaccines, including a 3 year rabies shot. However she has yet to be micro-chipped, have her teeth cleaned, and be spayed. She is relaxed and receptive around kids 6 years and older so long as they stay calm and do not get too loud. Younger children and cats are an unknown though I tend to believe, under supervision, she would be fine with them too. Coming from a rural environment she is unaccustomed to and uncomfortable with going for walks. However with time, consistency and patience those traits will be forgotten. Best to walk her with a harness rather than a slip leash as on occasion she may react to a passing vehicle. Josie lives to be loved and praised. She is awaiting that special companion, that you are likely searching for as well. Might it be you be that is the lucky chosen one to share Josie's future?
