Learn more about the Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie. Learn more about the Border Collie.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE. A COMPLETED APPLICATION, WHICH YOU WILL FIND ON OUR WEBSITE AT www.colliesheltierescue.org IS OUR FIRST STEP. WITHOUT THAT CRITICAL FIRST STEP, WE CAN'T BEGIN A CONVERSATION. Meet little Luca. He is a 1-year-old 23# mystery pup. We are guessing Sheltie/Border Collie mix. Luca is light boned and slender and quick. He is also a very gentle and loving fellow and a bit of a lapdog. Neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped with a Home Again chip with a lifetime database registration, Heartworm negative and has a normal CBC and blood chemistry profile. Healthy and happy and ready to love and be loved for a lifetime. Luca needed a life change and we are happy to be a part of his future. He is initially a little shy with men but has warmed up to his foster dad and is sleeping in bed with him (along with his foster mom). He is playing happily with his foster siblings, two rough Collies and a Border Collie mix. When he came to visit "Doggie Central", he immersed himself with a pack of seven Collies and too many humans (LOL). The ideal home for Luca could be yours. Lots of time and affection. Perhaps another pooch to play with. A securely fenced yard to have potty breaks. And a firm commitment to love him for a lifetime. A completed application is number #1 priority. Please read about us and then fill out the online app. www.colliesheltierescue.org.
