Please meet Scrumptious Skylar! Sky is a 30-ish pound spayed female Sheltie who is less than two years old, and whose middle name is "Fetch!" She adores playing fetch, although we haven't been able to play it anywhere but in the house, because the back yard's still covered in snow (and mud). Sky is very sweet, and loves to get petted. (Of course, she'd prefer to play fetch!) She is in excellent health, and is a very smart young lady. She gets along with other dogs (has two foster-brothers and one foster-sister) and got along okay with a four-year-old little girl who visited over the weekend. Because Sky is very playful, we would prefer that she is adopted with a family who has older, rather than younger, kids. Sky was able to meet a cat when she went to the vet for her checkup and was curious, but the kitty wasn't much interested in getting to know Sky. Sky would be an excellent candidate for agility, but if you can't provide that, just a little bit of training would go a long way with her. She's very smart, and likes to please, and has a wonderful life ahead of her! We require a completed application for you to be considered for adoption. Young dogs need young and active families. Skylar is one of those dogs that needs humans who will keep her busy and keep her mind active as well with teaching obedience skills and tricks. She could dazzle your friends with how smart a Sheltie can be! Wow!
