Tyler Bob (aka "the Bobber") is about 9 years old and would be a fabulous companion for a solo senior or couple who wants a best doggie friend. He is healthy and housebroken and enjoys sitting at the feet of his people and basking in their love.

Six months ago, RMCSR placed Ty Bob with an adopter who had some complicated medical issues and whose health since has declined. The adopter bravely and tearfully decided that Tyler Bob’s needs should come first and now he is back with us at the rescue. He is once more looking for his perfect match.

The Director’s mother-in-law (at age 90) smiles gently at this little fellow as he sits beside her wheel chair during meals – just in case a tidbit should fall to the floor. He is not pushy, just available!

Bob gets along fine with other dogs and cats, but he really wants is a person. He is gentle, loving and pretty silly when he’s happy and he wiggles his little bobbed tail in delight delight. (Hence his name, Tyler Bob .)

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our   Adoption Policies   and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online   Adoption Application  . From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email.  You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
